Biometric Data Policy | AttractivenessTest

How AttractivenessTest handles facial geometry, consent, retention and destruction, in plain words.

Facial geometry, the shape and distances of your face, can count as biometric data under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). This policy says when we handle it, how long we keep it and how it is destroyed.

Free tests: we do not collect it

The Attractiveness Test, PSL Test and Hunter Eyes Test find face points and measure them inside your browser. The photo, the face points and the measurements stay on your device and are discarded when you leave or reload the page. AttractivenessTest does not receive, store or share any of them.

The paid AI report is not open yet. When it opens, it will analyse an uploaded photo, so before any upload we will:

  • ask you to confirm you are 18 or older and that the photo is of you;
  • show this policy and the list of companies that will process the photo, and ask for your written (click-to-agree) consent;
  • record that consent before the photo is sent anywhere.

Retention and destruction

For the AI report, once it opens:

DataKept forThen
Original uploadUp to 24 hours after it is resized and cleanedDeleted
Processed photo, masks, previews and exports30 days, or sooner if you delete themDeleted
Logs with request metadata90 daysDeleted
BackupsNo more than 30 daysOverwritten

When you delete a report or your account, access is revoked at once and the files are removed within 24 hours, including copies held by processors where their systems allow it.

What we never do

  • Sell, lease or trade facial data.
  • Use it to identify you or anyone else.
  • Infer race, health or sexual orientation.
  • Use your photos to train AI models.
  • Publish photos at public links.
